How do I keep deer out of my vegetable garden?
Q. I have corn and other things that deer love to devour. Is there anything that I can plant or leave out to discourage the deer. Little critters.

A. Go to your local dog groomer and ask for a bag or two of hair clippings. Spread it around the parameter of your garden and mulch it into the ground a little. Deer tend to stay away from domesticated dogs, the smell of their hair should ward them off nicely.

How can I cook deer meat where it isn't tough?
Q. I'm not talking about deer stake, I'm only meaning tenderloin, ground deer, and deer sausage. How could I make it where it is tender? Will give 10 points for best answer! I'm not talking about any stew, I'm just meaning frying the meat up for burgers or having a tenderloin biscuit or a sausage biscuit.

A. In the grounds you will need to add beef fat to keep the burger from being tough. If you have a good meat processor, they should have done this for you as an option. Otherwise, you're out of luck with the ground meats. Venison is lean and patties etc...need the fats added to them for juiciness. As for the tenderloin, we love to slice and fry. Cut about 3/4" thickness. Season with flour, salt and pepper. Fry in pan with oil. Make some white gravy and biscuits and yum yum. The tenderloin should not be tough. Just don't over cook. If you are baking, wrap in bacon and season to taste with salt and pepper.

How do I keep the deer away from my garden?
Q. This year has probably been the worst yet, the tomoatos are destroyed, I haven't been able to get any peppers and only a handful of snap peas, they haven't gotten to all the corn yet. I know it's the deer, I have a scarecrow out and I have cans on twine surrounding most of the garden but nothing is working! I need help!

A. This is going to sound sooo weird to you, but I know for a fact that is works, we (my family and relatives all do this) You have all the men pee into milk jugs, then mix it half & half with water and spray it around the garden. It is the same concept as deer away, they just use coyete urine. The human sent scares them just as much, but you will have to repeat the process every week. Rain will wash the scent away.. Again I know this sounds weird
